A little update to ease the long wait...
I continue to get sicker by the moment (this cold, flu, or whatever just won't quit) and spent most of today (when I wasn't teaching) asleep.
The good news......I have completed the cast list.
The bad news......I want to sleep on it before I post.
It will go online first thing in the morning and be in the usual places in the Fine Arts Building.
Since my chances of making it through the entire day at school tomorrow are rather slim, we will move the first rehearsal (for hopefully the final time) to Monday afternoon from 3:45 - 6:30 PM.
I can give you a little news to make the wait a little easier. I was able to use everyone! I am also creating an understudy program for this play. Why? I had too many people with great auditions and not enough substantial roles (especially with the ladies and younger actors.) I want all of you to REALLY experience Shakespeare and learn from it, so many of you will do one role and have the chance to understudy another. I think you will really enjoy it! Details on understudy assignments will be given at the first rehearsal.
This has proven to be one of the hardest shows to cast in quite a long time. Thank you for showing such strong work and helping to build our theatre program into something special!
