Thanks to everyone for a great audition. We had a huge turnout – 30 actors! Because of this, many actors who had outstanding auditions are in ensemble roles. Please do not be disheartened by this! Your good work was noticed. In fact, I count on it to bring some of the most important scenes (like Joan’s death) to the stage successfully. Traditionally, the spring play serves as an internship for younger performers. This is a valuable chance to see how a college-style rehearsal process is run and get a good feel for it. I also offer the opportunity for actors to become understudies. If you are interested in doing understudy work, speak with me at the first rehearsal.
The first rehearsal will be Tuesday, March 25, 3:45-6:00 PM. Please be prepared with a pencil (and highlighter, if you like to use one.)
