Congratulations and much appreciation to all! I saw quite a bit of good work at the auditions. As always with Shakespeare, I didn’t have nearly enough named roles for all of the actresses with strong auditions. Still, everyone who auditioned has been cast in the show. I think this is our strongest one-act cast since I’ve been at FPD. I am so excited about working with you on this exciting new take on Shakespeare’s funniest comedy.
The first rehearsal will be Tuesday, September 12, from 6:00-8:00 PM in the auditorium. Please be present with a pencil and any additional conflicts you have discovered since auditions. Also, do a little research into the late 1920s, New York City, and organized crime. Try to have at least two interesting facts to share with the rest of the cast. If you find interesting websites, write them down or e-mail them to me so I can post them on the research page.
