General Information
Students must have a completed and signed audition form before they will be allowed to audition. Bring this form with you to auditions -- do not turn it in beforehand! Extra forms will be available at the Elementary office, the FPD Theatre office (off the lobby of the Clark Fine Arts Center), and as a downloadable Microsoft Word file on this site.
Plan to be at auditions for the whole time. Parents: we may finish a few minutes early (4:45ish) but a lot of time is being allowed in case many students want to audition.
Students should wear clothing that will allow them to move comfortably. Please - no flipflops or other "open" shoes.
Friends and family members are not allowed to watch the auditions (it becomes really distracting for the kids and often keeps them from doing their best), but are encouraged to wait for their child in the auditorium lobby.
Auditions at FPD are not stressful! We have a great time as we do a vocal and physical warm-up, play some acting games, perform a movement exercise, and read from the script.
Please be very aware of your conflicts before auditioning. We will have approximately 5 weeks to prepare this show. Students with numerous afterschool conflicts will not be able to dedicate the time that this production will need.
Rehearsals will generally be held from 3:15 - 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. There may be a few evening rehearsals in the week before the show.
Performances will be October 5 & 7 at 7:00 PM in the Clark Fine Arts Center. There will be a 1:00 PM performance scheduled for that week as well.

He will be in his office at 7:30 AM and regularly stays after school as well if you would like to talk to him in person.
